Description of the campsite
Parque de Campismo Rural Lapa dos Gaivões is in Arronches, within the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park, in Portugal's Alto Alentejo. It covers 5,000 m² with pitches of more than 100 m² each. A small stream runs through the grounds, forming a natural pool and watering fruit trees such as cherry, olive, plum and pomegranate. Facilities include toilet blocks with hot water, a dishwasher, a washing machine, an accessible toilet with changing facilities, and a reception with a terrace and WiFi. Nearby you can visit the rock paintings of Lapa dos Gaivões, the Abrilongo reservoir, the medieval town of Alegrete and waymarked walking trails.
