2026 season notice: the campsite is closed to the public from 11 to 30 September, both included, for the Elvas festivities. It reopens on 1 October. Camping Piedade is located in Elvas, in the district of Portalegre, in Portugal's Alentejo region, near the border with Spain. It has a restaurant so you can eat without leaving the grounds. Practical facilities include hot showers and electrical hook-up for the pitches. Its location in Elvas makes it possible to combine a rest at the campsite with a visit to this walled city in eastern Portugal.
