BuscaTuCamping in your AI assistant

Campsite guide
Willy and Couquis camping with their caravan

If you use an artificial intelligence assistant to plan your trips, you can give it direct access to BuscaTuCamping. Then, when you ask it where to sleep on a road trip, the assistant checks our guide at that moment, with the verified opening season of each campsite, instead of answering from memory.

What your assistant can do with BuscaTuCamping

  • Plan a route and overnight stops: it calculates the route with your vehicle profile (car, camper van, motorhome or caravan), the time it suits you to stop given your departure time, the maximum hours at the wheel, lunch and breaks, and suggests between 8 and 12 campsites you can reach by then, with the real road detour and whether they are open on your date.
  • Campsites along the route: it lists the campsites near a journey, in the direction of travel, with the kilometre of the route where they are, the detour and their season status. Useful for questions such as “which campsites are there between Madrid and Lisbon”.

Each campsite the assistant returns comes with the link to its BuscaTuCamping page, where you will find the rest of its details: facilities, photos, guide price, contact and official website. Adding a campsite to a plan does not book a place: always confirm with the campsite. The connector answers in Spanish; your assistant can translate the results for you.

How to add it

BuscaTuCamping works as a remote MCP connector (Model Context Protocol, the open standard AI assistants use to connect to external tools). No account or key is needed: this address is all you need:

https://www.buscatucamping.com/mcp

  • Claude: in the connector settings, choose to add a custom connector, name it “BuscaTuCamping” and paste the address. No authentication is required.
  • ChatGPT and other assistants: in the plans and modes that allow adding your own MCP connectors, the procedure is the same: a new connector with this address and no authentication.

Then just ask naturally: “I am driving a motorhome from Valencia to Porto on 12 October, leaving at 9; where should I sleep?”.

Usage limits

The connector is free and read-only. To keep it available for everyone, each conversation can calculate up to 10 routes per hour and there is a maximum of 200 route calculations per day across all users. If the limit is reached, the assistant will tell you; you can then use the route planner on the website, which does the same.

Privacy

The connector does not ask for an account or personal data. For security we log each query (tool used, time and the IP address it comes from, which is usually that of the assistant service) to prevent abuse and measure usage. More information in the privacy policy.

Where the data comes from

It is the same as in the guide: campsites verified by our team against the official website of each campsite, with their opening season and the date we checked it. More details in About us and how we work.
