Campsite guide
Willy and Couquis camping with their caravan

We analysed the 1,100 approved campsites in our guide to see, by province (and by region in the areas without provinces of their own), what percentage have a pool, accept pets, have their own restaurant, a playground or wifi. We only include areas with at least 10 campsites listed in our database, so that the figure is representative.

Frequently asked questions

Which area has the most campsites with a pool?

Barcelona leads with 93% of its campsites with a pool, according to our database.

How are these percentages calculated?

Based on the approved campsites in our guide (1,100 in total), grouped by province (and by region in the areas without provinces of their own: Asturias, Cantabria, Madrid, La Rioja, Murcia and Navarre). Only areas with at least 10 listed campsites are shown, so that the percentage is representative and not statistical noise from a small sample.

Do these figures cover the whole of Spain?

We cover 30 areas with enough campsites in our guide. Some areas with fewer campsites in our database do not appear in the table because they do not reach the minimum threshold of 10 campsites.
