Description of the campsite
Camping Asseiceira is in Asseiceira, in the heart of the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park, close to the Spanish border and with direct views of Marvão castle. The campsite, run by Austrians, is open from 1 February to 15 November. It has pitches with electricity, water and light hook-ups, as well as bungalows for those who prefer not to camp. The pool is available from June to September. Services include a laundry, horse riding, hiking and fishing. A baker comes daily except Sundays. Dogs are allowed.
