Description of the campsite
Camping Abaya is pedestrian, has 3 stars and is tucked away among the vegetation near the beach of Hendaye, with its surfers. In July and August a free shuttle takes you to the 3 km-long fine-sand beach. The 82 accommodations and 41 pitches are spread over undulating, shaded ground; the mobile homes were installed in 2024. There is a bar with a restaurant and entertainment in season. The campsite is next to the coastal paths and the Spanish border; the Abbadia natural area is 500 m away, and a boat crosses to Fuenterrabía in 10 minutes. From here you can visit Biarritz, Bayonne, San Sebastián and villages of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Open from April to September.
