The Boulevard de l'Empereur runs along the Basque Corniche of Hendaye, a stretch of rocky coast between the main beach and the border with Spain, with views towards the Peñas de Aya. Camping Ametza overlooks that coastline with a restaurant and a bar to recharge after hiking routes in the surrounding area, as well as a sports court and a pool for the rest of the family. Fishing is possible from the nearby rocks, and the on-site supermarket saves unnecessary trips.
