Tursac lies in the heart of the Vézère valley, the area with the greatest density of prehistoric sites in Europe, between Les Eyzies and the caves that made the region famous worldwide. Camping Le Tilleul offers a pool for swimming, a playground for families and pitches with natural shade, much appreciated on hot summer days in the Périgord. It is a good starting point for visiting the sites and caves of the Vézère valley, as well as the village of Les Eyzies itself, considered the world capital of prehistory. The calm waters of the Vézère river also allow canoe trips between cliffs with preserved prehistoric shelters.
