Description of the campsite
Tursac lies in the heart of the Vézère valley, the area declared a World Heritage Site for the concentration of prehistoric sites it holds, including the caves near Lascaux. Camping de la Ferme du Pelou offers bungalows, pétanque, a swimming pool and wifi, and occupies a former farm converted into rural accommodation. Dogs are allowed. The rock shelters and troglodyte villages of the valley, carved directly into the limestone cliff, can be visited a few minutes from the campsite. It operates in season; checking with the campsite exactly when it opens, before setting out, avoids surprises.
