Tursac is in the heart of the Vézère valley, the stretch of the Périgord Noir dotted with prehistoric rock shelters and troglodyte hamlets that led UNESCO to declare the area a World Heritage Site. Camping Ferme de la Brauge, set in a former farm, has bungalows beside its own pool for relaxing after visiting the nearby sites or paddling down the river by canoe. Wifi covers the common areas of the site. The campsite is open from 10 March to 15 November; it is best to book well ahead in the months of greatest tourist demand on the Vézère.
