Description of the campsite
Camping Municipal Lac et Montagnes is in Verchaix, in the Haute-Savoie department of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, in the Giffre valley, in the Savoyard Faucigny, near Samoëns and the Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval nature reserve. It is a campsite with a playground, pétanque and a tennis court. The high Alpine mountains are ideal for fishing in the Giffre and hiking towards the glacial cirque of Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, very close to Samoëns.
