Description of the campsite
The Mont Blanc massif dominates the horizon from Passy, in Haute-Savoie, where the Plateau d'Assy was for decades a place of retreat for its climate and its views over the Arve valley. Camping Les Îles, near the lakes that give it its name, combines sport and rest: a gym, an outdoor and an indoor pool, and fishing areas, as well as bungalows and glamping. The restaurant and the bar provide meals without leaving the site, and dogs are allowed. Hiking takes centre stage here, with routes that climb to the balconies of Mont Blanc and descend towards the Chamonix valley. There is also a nearby swimming area. It is best to confirm the exact season dates before booking.
