Description of the campsite
Chamonix-Mont-Blanc sits at the foot of the roof of the Alps, with the Mont-Blanc massif dominating the valley and attracting mountaineers from all over the world since the nineteenth century. Camping des Écureuils, in the Les Bossons district, offers bungalows and wifi, very close to the glacier that gives its name to that part of the valley. The Aiguille du Midi cable car and the high-mountain trails, with direct views of the glacier, are the great attractions of this Alpine town. It operates in season; checking the exact opening days with the establishment before making plans is recommended.
