Camping de la Mer de Glace is in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, in the Haute-Savoie département of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in the very heart of the Mont Blanc massif, high in the Alpine mountains. It is a seasonal campsite with a bar, plus takeaway food and a bakery, and offers a playground, a social room and a laundry, with baby bath and changing facilities and toilets. It has electricity and a motorhome service point, dogs are allowed, it offers wifi, and it has adaptations for people with reduced mobility. Its setting, among legendary peaks, glaciers and famous cable cars, invites big mountain outings and discovering the world capital of mountaineering during the Alpine summer season beside the Mer de Glace.
