Description of the campsite
Camping du Glacier d'Argentière is in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, in the Haute-Savoie department, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in the heart of the Mont Blanc massif, right in the village of Argentière, at the foot of the glacier. It is a seasonal campsite with a bar and takeaway food, as well as baby bath and changing facilities, hot showers, a laundry, a social lounge and a bakery, and it offers excursions, a service area and wifi. It has adaptations for people with reduced mobility. Hiking is available. Its setting, among legendary peaks, glaciers and famous cable cars, invites long mountain outings and the discovery of the world capital of mountaineering in the middle of the Alpine summer season, beside the Argentière glacier and the Aiguille des Grands Montets.
