Campsites near the beach open all year round in Andalusia

How we made this page

The 2026 season comes from the official website of each campsite and other sources we cross-check, or from what the campsite itself states on its page. We only count a month as open when the published dates cover the whole month.

“Near the beach” means the campsite is on the coast according to its location; we do not count inland campsites with a river or lake beach.

We do not know the availability of each day: confirm dates and places with the campsite (each campsite page has its phone number and website). Page generated on 24/10/2026.

Camping in Andalusia: eight provinces, a thousand landscapes and sunshine all year round

Andalusia is the largest autonomous community in Spain and one of the most diverse in Europe in terms of landscapes, climate and heritage. With more than nine hundred kilometres of coastline shared between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, mountains that rise above three thousand metres, inland plains dotted with olive groves and marshlands declared a World Heritage Site, this southern land offers campers a variety that is hard to find in any other corner of the Iberian Peninsula.

The Andalusian coast is one of its great attractions. The Costa del Sol in Málaga concentrates a good part of the tourist infrastructure, with easily accessible beaches and an enviable climate that makes it comfortable to go camping even in the winter months. The Costa de la Luz, in Cádiz and Huelva, is the Atlantic counterpoint: longer beaches, wind that ruffles the surface of the water, dunes and pine forests that reach right down to the shore. The Cabo de Gata Natural Park, in Almería, closes the coastline with a volcanic landscape of unspoilt coves, turquoise waters and the driest, sunniest microclimate in all of western Europe. The Costa Tropical of Granada adds a different profile, with rocky seabeds, avocado groves beside the sea and quiet beaches far from mass tourism.

The Andalusian interior is just as rich. Sierra Nevada, a National Park, is home to Mulhacén, the highest peak on the Iberian Peninsula, and lets you combine high-mountain routes with the calm of the villages of the Alpujarra, where water runs along ancient irrigation channels and the air smells of lavender and thyme. The Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas Natural Park, in Jaén, is the largest protected area in Spain and a leading destination for those looking for hiking, mountain biking and wildlife watching among pines, deer and griffon vultures. The Sierra de Grazalema, the Sierra Norte de Seville and the Sierra de Aracena in Huelva complete a mosaic of natural areas that makes Andalusia a first-class region for active tourism.

Going camping in Andalusia also means having access to an extraordinary cultural heritage. Granada is home to the Alhambra, one of the most visited monuments in the world. Córdoba offers its Mosque-Cathedral and the maze of lanes in its old Jewish quarter. Seville brings together the Giralda, the Alcázar and the Torre del Oro on a single skyline. Cádiz boasts of being one of the oldest cities in the West. Úbeda and Baeza, in Jaén, are jewels of the Spanish Renaissance declared World Heritage Sites. This closeness between nature and culture means that a trip through Andalusia by tent, caravan or motorhome can combine beach days with museum afternoons without having to cover great distances.

The climate is perhaps the most powerful argument in Andalusia's favour. Winters are mild across most of the region, spring arrives early and brings with it flowering fields and ideal temperatures for hiking and cycling, and summer, although hot inland, is enjoyed in the cool air by the sea or at mountain campsites. Autumn extends the season with bright days and natural areas free of crowds. For families, couples and groups of friends travelling by tent, in a bungalow or with glamping, Andalusia responds with a breadth of options that few Spanish regions can match.
