If you like canoeing down the river, this human-scale campsite has a head start: the trip through the Gorges de l’Ardèche to the Pont d’Arc (14 km) starts right here, with a shuttle back. Camping Le Carpenty stands beside the Ardèche river, 5 minutes from Ruoms and 10 from Vallon-Pont-d’Arc, and keeps the welcoming atmosphere of the campsites of old. You can stay in mobile homes, from small ones to high-end ones with a covered terrace and air conditioning, or on very large pitches under acacia trees. There is direct access to the river, a pool with a paddling pool and a snack bar with pizzas, burgers, waffles and homemade ice cream. The 13 camping pitches share one toilet block. Opening dates should be checked with the campsite.
