Le Soleil Vivarais is in Sampzon, at the foot of the rocky outcrop of the same name, a natural viewpoint over a tight meander of the river Ardèche that has become one of the most popular climbing spots in the region. Ruoms and Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, with their gorges and canoe trips, are very close. The campsite has a bar, bungalows, a swimming pool, a sauna and a spa area for relaxing after days of climbing or paddling down the river. A swim in the river, very close by, rounds off the day nicely. It is open for the full season, although it is worth confirming the exact dates when booking.
