Description of the campsite
Sampzon crowns a rocky crag almost completely surrounded by a meander of the Ardèche river, one of the most photographed viewpoints of the whole canyon, with views towards the gorges from its summit. Camping Le Riviera lies near this meander with bungalows for those who arrive without their own equipment, fishing in the nearby waters and a pool for the rest of the family. The bar is the focus of summer evenings, while the river beach allows bathing in the cool waters of the Ardèche after canoe trips through the canyon. It is a campsite designed for exploring in depth this very photogenic part of the southern Ardèche. It is best to check the calendar with the campsite before travelling.
