Description of the campsite
Camping La Vera is in the La Vera region, in the foothills of the Sierra de Gredos, 2 km from Jarandilla de la Vera (Cáceres). It is surrounded by torrential mountain gorges, picturesque villages and ancient festivals, and hiking is the natural activity of the region. The pitches are spacious, of 70 m², and there are new wooden cabins and bungalows.
The pool has a waterfall, and there is entertainment, a playground, an adventure park and a sports area with padel, tennis, football and basketball. The restaurant serves home-style local food, the social lounge opens at the end of June, pets are allowed and there is a motorhome area with overnight stays. It is open in season, from February to December.
