Description of the campsite
Camping Puerta de la Demanda is in Villasur de Herreros (Burgos), 26 km from Burgos, in a valley of oaks, beeches and pines at the foot of the Úzquiza reservoir, where non-motorised water sports are allowed. The Vía Verde de la Sierra de la Demanda runs along the grounds and can also be ridden on rental electric bicycles. The Atapuerca sites are 16 km away. It rents wooden bungalows with 2-3 bedrooms and pods for 2 people, and the pool is saltwater. It has an automatic CamperClean station to empty, clean and refill the chemical toilet of motorhomes, as well as a playground, and dogs are allowed. Opening dates are best checked with the campsite.
