Description of the campsite
Le Quite is a campsite beside the Sangro river, in Villetta Barrea (L'Aquila, Abruzzo), a short walk from the village and surrounded by the beech and black pine forests of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park. Since 1979 it has offered a simple setting for those seeking direct contact with nature: here deer graze freely near the tents. It is an ideal starting point for hiking, nature excursions and horse riding, with Lake Barrea a few minutes away. It has drinking water, hot showers, electricity, dishwashing sinks, laundry sinks, toilets and an accessible area, and is also equipped for motorhomes with chemical toilet emptying.
