Saint-Malô-du-Bois is tucked away in the wooded interior of the Vendée, in the Sèvre Nantaise valley, very close to the Puy du Fou theme park, one of the great tourist attractions of western France. Camping La Vallée de Poupet offers an outdoor and an indoor pool as its main facilities, designed as a simple, affordable base for those visiting the Puy du Fou or exploring the Sèvre valley by bicycle or canoe. The setting of forests and gentle hills defines the whole landscape of this Vendée, less well known than the Atlantic coast. It is a practical stop before or after the evening shows at the neighbouring theme park. Opening dates are not yet confirmed: it is best to check them directly with the campsite.
