Lacave hides one of the most visited caves in the Lot, with a small underground train that runs through chambers of stalactites beneath the Dordogne valley, very close to Rocamadour and the golden-stone villages of the Quercy. Lodg'ing Nature Camp Vallée de la Dordogne offers unusual glamping-style accommodation, with pétanque and takeaway food, and hiking trails that follow the river valley. Dogs are allowed throughout the site and the river beach is nearby. It is an original base for combining caving, canoeing on the Dordogne and visits to Rocamadour without giving up comfort.
