Les Rives du Lac de Vinça takes its name from the reservoir that the village of Vinça formed by damming the river Têt, in the Conflent, the Pyrenean area that climbs from Perpignan towards Prades and the Canigó massif. The lake, very popular with anglers and swimmers in summer, is the area's main attraction and also gives its name to the hiking trails around it. The campsite has bungalows, a simple base for exploring both the reservoir and the stone villages of the Conflent.
