Prades is the capital of the Conflent, the Catalan district of France that stretches at the foot of the Canigó, the sacred mountain that crowns the Roussillon landscape. Camping Les Portes du Canigou has a bar, barbecue areas, bungalows, takeaway food, a restaurant, television and wifi, and is close to a bathing area. The Romanesque abbey of Saint-Michel-de-Cuxa, very nearby, and the trails that climb the Canigó are the main attractions of the area.
