Serdinya is tucked away in the Conflent, the Pyrenean valley through which the Têt flows on its way to Perpignan, among mountains that already hint at the high Catalan mountains on the other side of the border. Camping Mas de Lastourg offers bungalows, a bar and barbecues beside its own pool, with a small supermarket and wifi in the common areas. Takeaway food takes care of dinners after a day out visiting the Romanesque villages of the Conflent or heading up towards nearby Canigou. It is open from 4 April to 30 September, and it is best to book well ahead in the summer months in this quiet corner of Roussillon.
