Description of the campsite
Independent and family-run since 1965, Camping de la Côte d'Argent covers 20 rolling, partly shaded hectares of pine forest, with cycle paths starting from the site, 300 metres from the Atlantic coast and its large sandy beach with a surf spot. The heated water complex, of about 9,000 m², includes a large indoor pool, ten or so water slides and a counter-current river. There are a mini-club, a teen club for ages 12 to 17 and, in the bar/restaurant, concerts, karaoke and dance evenings. The campsite, in Hourtin (Gironde), is 4 km from a natural lake, and Lacanau, Arcachon and Bordeaux are less than an hour away. Open from May to September.
