Description of the campsite

Naujac-sur-Mer is part of the Médoc coast, that strip of dunes and pine forests separating the Gironde estuary from the Atlantic itself, with wild beaches that are not crowded even in midsummer. Camping du Ranch, a simple campsite, has bungalows, with the beach a short walk through pine woods, in a quiet setting away from the large neighbouring seaside resorts such as Soulac or Hourtin. It is a discreet base for surfing, walks in the Médoc forest or visits to the vineyards of the northern Médoc. It is advisable to check the season's opening dates with the campsite before the trip.
