Description of the campsite
Vendays-Montalivet divides its coastline between pine forests and dunes of the Médoc, with one of the longest and least built-up beaches on the whole French Atlantic coast, facing the open ocean. Camping Atlantic Club Montalivet offers bike rental, a minigolf course and a pool, beside its own restaurant and a spa for relaxing after the beach. The tennis court completes the site's sports offer. The pine forest between the campsite and the coast shelters it from the Atlantic wind on the windiest days. It is open from 3 April to 16 September, and it is best to book well ahead in the summer months.
