Camping L Oree du Bois is in Hourtin, in the Gironde département, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, next to Lake Hourtin-Carcans, the largest natural lake in France, among pine woods and dunes on the Côte d'Argent. It is a seasonal campsite with a swimming pool, an indoor pool, bungalow accommodation and glamping, as well as a playground, and it has a bar, takeaway food and television. Close to the lake beach, its surroundings of pine forest and Gironde dunes are ideal for walks along the shores of the great lake and for exploring the nearby Atlantic coast.
