Aureilhan shares with Mimizan the great coastal lake that gives its name to this part of the Landes, a freshwater lake separated from the Atlantic by barely a strip of dunes and pine woods. Camping Rivage des Landes offers a very complete range beside its shore: a gym, billiards, a playground and a restaurant with a takeaway food service, plus fishing and pétanque. Dogs are welcome throughout the site, and the spa area rounds off the rest after days cycling along the forest tracks that separate the lake from the sea. The ocean beach is a short trip away, ideal for combining both landscapes in the same Landes stay. Before booking, it is advisable to ask the campsite about the calendar.
