Le Royannais is in Le Verdon-sur-Mer, at the far tip of the Médoc, right where the Gironde stops being a river and becomes the largest estuary in western Europe, facing the Atlantic. From the nearby beach you can see the Cordouan lighthouse, the cathedral of the sea that has guided ships towards Bordeaux for centuries, and the ferry that crosses to Royan leaves very close to the campsite. The site offers a bar, bungalows, takeaway food, glamping, a jacuzzi, a pool and its own supermarket, a complete offer for an area that is a must-cross point between the Médoc and Charente-Maritime.
