Description of the campsite
Le Palace occupies a classic spot in Soulac-sur-Mer, at the northern tip of the Médoc, where the Gironde estuary finally opens onto the Atlantic opposite Royan. The town keeps the air of an early twentieth-century seaside resort, with its villas and its basilica, once buried by sand and later rescued, and the campsite adds a very complete offer: outdoor and indoor pools, gym, restaurant and bar, sauna and spa, playground and its own supermarket, plus bungalows, television and wifi so you do not give up any comfort. The beach, with fine sand and tall dunes, is very close. It is open the full season, although it is best to check the exact dates when booking.
