Description of the campsite
Le Diamant Noir is in Sainte-Alvère, a village in the Périgord Noir famous throughout France for its weekly black truffle market, the so-called black diamond that gives the campsite its name. The area, between Bergerac and Périgueux, lives for much of the year to the rhythm of this truffle economy and its truffle oak woods. The campsite has a bar, bungalows, takeaway food and a gym. It is a quiet base for exploring the Périgord without the crowds of Sarlat. As the season status is not yet confirmed, ask for the opening dates directly before booking.
