Le Bugue lies in the Vézère valley, that prehistoric corridor of the Périgord Noir where decorated caves sit alongside golden-stone villages overlooking the river. Camping Le Rocher de la Granelle, in the La Borie area, offers bungalows and a gym alongside a playground, with fishing and pétanque as typical activities of the area. The pool cools you down on hot days, and the Vézère river beach is nearby. Since the campsite is open for the full season, it is advisable to book a pitch somewhat in advance in summer.
