Description of the campsite
Vensac stretches among the pine woods and dunes of the Médoc, that strip of vineyards and forest that separates the ocean from the Gironde estuary, with the village windmill as a local landmark. Camping du Vieux Moulin, which precisely recalls that windmill, offers bungalows and a restaurant alongside an outdoor pool and an indoor one for days with less sun. Fishing is possible in the nearby ponds. The Atlantic beach is a few minutes away by car. The season is a full one: it is best to book well ahead in summer.
