Description of the campsite
A bay of red rocks and fine sand, 500 m away on foot, is what sets apart the 4-star Camping La Rondinara, in a preserved natural setting of 6 hectares. Trails lead from the beach through the maquis to some Genoese ruins, and pedalos, kayaks and paddleboards are rented. There are 42 bungalows (mobile homes), 14 ecolodge tents and 89 pitches; the infinity pool looks out towards Sardinia. The restaurant L'Ornellara opens every evening with a weekly themed evening. The atmosphere is calm, with a party once a week in July and August. It lies between Porto-Vecchio and Bonifacio, in Corse-du-Sud, and opens from May to early October.
