Description of the campsite
The Gulf of Porto-Vecchio closes in between maquis-covered hills and old salt pans that now serve as a nature reserve for birds, a landscape quite different from the white sandy beaches that made the area famous in recent decades. Camping Les Jardins du Golfe offers a pool, restaurant, bar and its own supermarket, an entertainment programme, a baby bath, table tennis and a laundry, with a motorhome waste disposal point and wifi throughout the site. It is a comfortable base for exploring both the gulf and the beaches of Palombaggia and Santa Giulia, a little further south, as well as the Genoese old town of Porto-Vecchio, with its cobbled streets and evening terraces.
