Description of the campsite
Camping des Îles is near Bonifacio, the Genoese citadel perched on white limestone cliffs that watches over the strait separating Corsica from Sardinia. The cove of Piantarella, next to the site, is famous among kitesurfing enthusiasts for its shallow waters and its direct view of the Lavezzi Islands. The campsite has bungalows for those without their own tent, a swimming pool, a restaurant and wifi. Bonifacio, with its harbour wedged between rock walls and its old town of narrow lanes, is a short trip away. As the season status is not yet confirmed, it is best to ask directly for the opening dates before planning your visit.
