Piégros-la-Clastre rests on a hill in the Drôme, in the Diois region, where the Drôme river carves a valley of vineyards and lavender fields on the way to Die, famous for its sweet sparkling clairette wine. Camping Les Chamberts, a seasonal campsite, has glamping accommodation, bungalows, a swimming pool and a restaurant, with the river beach of the Drôme itself a short distance away and hiking trails through the surrounding hills.
