Description of the campsite
The Saoû forest occupies an ancient geological cirque unique in Europe, surrounded by limestone cliffs that close in on themselves forming a natural amphitheatre of dense forest, one of the most distinctive landscapes of the Drôme. Camping La Graville sits beside the river that flows down from that same forest, with a bar as a meeting point and direct access to hiking routes that lead into the cirque. It is a simple campsite, designed for those drawn above all by the nature reserve and its mid-mountain paths. The nearby river lets you cool off on hot days without the need for a swimming pool. The area surprises with its high-altitude Mediterranean vegetation. The campsite operates in season.
