Description of the campsite
In the Drôme valley, among vineyards that produce the Clairette de Die appellation, lies Verchény, a village of the Diois surrounded by gentle hills with the Vercors massif in the background. Camping Les Acacias offers a bar, a restaurant and a takeaway food service, as well as a supermarket, television and wifi, and serves as a base for walking the trails that climb towards the nearby limestone ridges. The clear-water River Drôme accompanies much of the route through the area. It welcomes visitors in season, although it is worth checking this year's specific dates with the campsite itself before setting out.
