Camping Peniche Praia, in Peniche, faces the Berlengas islands and lets you pitch your tent by the sea. It is in the Leiria district and has wooden bungalows with a porch and sea view. There are two outdoor pools, for adults and children, with free access, as well as a sauna, a Turkish bath and a playground. It rents bicycles, and the area is good for diving, surfing, kitesurfing and fishing. It has a service area for motorhomes. Opening dates are best checked with the campsite.
