Camping Les Places Dorées stands on 6.8 hectares of pine wood, between the forest and the Atlantic Ocean, in Saint-Jean-de-Monts, in the Vendée. It is a 5-star site with 307 pitches, of which 214 are high-end mobile homes for rent. The heated water area exceeds 2,000 m² and includes pools, slides and water play areas for children, while wellness is provided by a sauna, a hammam and a hydromassage bath. The multisport court and the pétanque court are free, and bikes can be hired on site. It is about a 15-minute walk to the beach, and the state forest is a 5-minute walk away. There are a restaurant and a supermarket. It is best to check the opening dates with the campsite.
