Description of the campsite
Camping L'Hippocampe is a five-star, fully pedestrian campsite: cars stay in car parks and everything is explored on foot. Among trees and flowers, less than 900 metres from the beach, it has a heated water park with a tropical atmosphere (a 380 m² lagoon, artificial rocks and palm trees), modern mobile homes with 2 or 3 bedrooms for 4 to 6 people, tennis, pétanque, a bar and a restaurant. With the "Pass-Loisirs" wristband you can use the neighbouring facilities of L'Hippocampe and La Sirène. Bikes can be hired to cycle along the Côte Vermeille as far as Collioure. It is in Argelès-sur-Mer, in the Pyrénées-Orientales, and is open from April to September.
