Description of the campsite
With 22 pitches beside the Auzonnet river, Camping L'Orée des Cévennes prides itself on being a human-scale campsite: small accommodations and none of the atmosphere of a big campsite. It is in Saint-Jean-de-Valériscle, in the Gard, within the Cévennes National Park, and mornings begin with the scenery and the song of the river. Those who do not want a tent can rent bungalows (mobile homes) or chalets. On site there are tennis, ping-pong, fishing, pétanque, a pool and a bar, and bread and pastries are served. The Les Fumades spa is 15 minutes away. It is a 2-star campsite. It is best to check the opening dates with the campsite.
