Description of the campsite
A mountain stream can be heard next to Camping Le Pas de l'Ours, a small campsite in the mountain village of Aston, at 600 m above sea level, in the Ariège Pyrenees. It is designed for couples or families exploring the mountains: in summer it offers camping and chalets, and 50 m away there is a heated pool with a slide. You can walk to the chapel of Saint Barthélémy in Larcat or along the Aston valley, and in winter Plateau de Beille and Ax 3 Domaines are about 30 minutes away. Opening dates should be checked with the campsite.
