Camping Municipal La Coume is in Albiès, in the Ariège department of the Occitanie region, in the mountains and beside a river, in the upper Ariège valley, at the gateway to Cathar country and the Château de Montségur. It is a seasonal municipal campsite with a shaded pitch, as well as fishing and a playground, and it offers caravan storage, hot showers, a laundry, ice sales, electrical hook-up on the pitch, toilets, a motorhome service point and hiking. It has adaptations for people with reduced mobility, accepts cards and allows dogs. Its high-mountain and valley setting invites long hikes and exploring the villages and heritage of the upper valley.
