Description of the campsite
Camping Maurholz is a family campsite on the shore of Lake Greifensee, in Maur, within a protected natural area. It covers one hectare surrounded by meadows and woodland and has direct lake access for swimming. It is run by the TCS Camping Club Zürich and offers seasonal and touring pitches for tents and caravans. It has a restaurant with a wood-fired pizza oven and regional ingredients, showers, a washing machine and dryer, wifi, a playground and table tennis, as well as boat rental and lake excursions. A well-known walking and cycling path runs along the shore, and the historic village of Greifensee, with its castle and 14th-century Gothic church, is very close.
